The Palace is the medium through which Next Generation readers can chat with other gamers in a moderated graphical chat environment. Previously, Next Generation had run its own server, but has decided to combine with our IGN sister sites. As such, a new address for the palace has been created and should be used instead of the old address. After launching the Palace software, go to the File menu and select Open. When it prompts you for the address, you should enter:
palace://palace.imaginegames.com
The port number used is 9998.
After entering it once, it should remain in your bookmarks for future use.
